TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS AND INSTRUCTIONS
FOR E-POSTER PRESENTERS

E-POSTER VIEWING

Please note that E-Poster Viewing abstracts will not have a dedicated session time for a presentation and will be available at all times for participants to view through the Virtual E-Poster Gallery.

  • Each E-Poster will consist of a 1-page file.
  • The participants will be able to contact the E-Poster presenter through the Virtual Platform.
  • Only E-Posters of registered participants will be displayed in the E-Poster Gallery.
  • E-Poster presenters will receive by email a dedicated link to upload their E-Posters.

Deadline for uploading your E-Poster: 16 July, 2021

Preparations for E-Poster

Please submit your E-Poster as a 1-page PDF file in landscape orientation.

  • Language: All E-Posters should be prepared in English.
  • File format: .PDF
  • E-Poster orientation: Please create your document in PowerPoint in Landscape Layout 16×9 and save it as a .PDF file.
  • File size: Less than 10 MB
  • When inserting images, photos, tables, etc., use copy-paste. Do not use embedded documents.
  • Hyperlinks, animated images, animations and videos are not permitted for E-Posters and will be non-functioning.
  • QR Codes may be included.
  • Please do not use headers, footers or layers.
  • Before saving your .pdf file, please make sure the view in PowerPoint is not enlarged (i.e. the view is actual size or the zoom magnification is 100% or less).
  • When saving your .pdf, please do not use symbols or special characters (ie. +/-@) in the file name.

E-POSTER PRESENTATION

Please note that E-Poster Presentation abstracts will not have a dedicated session time for a presentation and will be available at all times for participants to view through the Virtual E-Poster Gallery.

  • Each E-Poster Presentation will consist of a 1-page file, short audio MP3 file and an option to give personal Zoom link to connect with participants of the Conference.
  • The participants will be also able to contact the E-Poster presenter through the Virtual Platform.
  • Only E-Poster Presentations of registered participants will be displayed in the E-Poster Gallery.
  • E-Poster presenters will receive by email a dedicated link to upload their E-Poster files.

Record your voice

E-Poster Presentation submitters are encouraged to record a short 3-5-minute MP3 audio file to introduce their poster. The recorded introduction will be accessible from the E-Poster Gallery within the Virtual Platform.

By uploading your E-Poster and audio file, you agree to having it published on the Virtual Conference platform for the duration of 3 months following the ESOC 2021 Virtual Conference.
